owner!“ Sharon (franchisee) What do we look for in a franchisee? A potential franchisee must enjoy working with young children and have the ability to relate to parents. In addition there are qualities that make franchisees into ‘Dinky Dancers’ franchisees:
Our current franchisees are from all sorts of backgrounds! Typically, our franchisees are mothers who have experience of very young children. Having said this, applicants who can multi–task, think on their feet and hop and jump - all at the same time would also be most welcome! Applicants do not need to have had any movement or music training, but ideally should have a background in physical activity in some form. Our current franchisees and teachers started in life as dancers, gymnasts, P.E teachers, primary school teachers, aerobics instructors, nannies, musicians, office managers and nursery nurses. Dinky Dancers franchisees are bright, enthusiastic, energetic, well organised and have good presentation skills. Any experience in business/advertising or administration also helps but is not a pre-requisite. The questions you must ask yourself above and beyond any experience or formal qualifications are: Do you have confidence,
enthusiasm and interpersonal skills – Dinky Dancers is a
customer service business, are you friendly and a good communicator?
